The last june 2th, our doctoral student An Nguyen took part of the MT180 competition.
"Ma thèse en 180 secondes" aims to inform the general public about the richness and interest of scientific research, while at the same time developing doctoral students' communica tion skills with the general public. Each participant (doctoral student or doctoral graduate from the previous academic year) will give a clear, concise and convincing three-minute presentation in French on his/her thesis. The presentation must be supported by a single slide!
Each year, the competition is held in six universities of the Wallonia-Brussels Federation: UCLouvain, ULB, ULiège, UMONS, UNamur and USL-B. Each university nominates candidates to take part in the inter-university final. The winners of this competition take part in the international final, which brings together the winners of each French-speaking country in the "Ma thèse en 180 secondes" competition.
She was selected by ULB to defend her University in the Belgian final.
